Anesthesia & Anecdotes is a professional meetup put on by the Ohanu & Allen Foundation, Inc. to bring aspiring professionals together to connect, empower and inform about the nurse anesthesia profession. The purpose of Anesthesia & Anecdotes is to provide a space for women and men especially minorities to become empowered with knowledge and inspiration that will make them successful in matriculating and graduating from a nurse anesthesia program. Proceeds from the Anesthesia & Anecdotes benefits the Ohanu & Allen Scholarship Program to provide nurse anesthesia education scholarships.

We create educational and empowerment sessions led by ourselves along with guest influencers in the nurse anesthesia profession to share their expertise and insight to expose you to various types of professional opportunities and unique experiences that have been influential in creating their success. Our mission is to provide the opportunity for women and men to be elevated and successful in nurse anesthesia or any other professional endeavors of their choice.
