Tobi Tajomavwo Nursing Foundation (TTNF) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization, comprised of a group of dedicated professionals, whose mission is to provide educational and charitable resources that will empower the next generation of nurses. Our primary goal is to address the nursing shortages and high burn-out rates affecting healthcare. TTNF does this by providing services that equips nursing professionals and students with mentoring, educational resources, and scholarships.

TTNF got its start from the lived experiences of the founder, Tobi Tajomavwo, a registered nurse who merely survived at the university she graduated from in 2013. Quickly after starting her podcast: “TobiTalks – A Nursing Career Guide for Millennials”, she realized that her nursing school experience wasn’t hers alone. She learned through crafting a platform to give other nurses a voice, that there was a clear gap in resources and support for students like her. Because of this, she decided to extend her services by founding Tobi Tajomavwo Nursing Foundation.

We have learned that there is always room to provide educational, mentorship, and resourced support, but to grow and truly make change a financial contribution is key.

At the moment, we are operating as an independent not-for-profit business. What this means is that we are not receiving any sort of funding by a government agency and have been relying heavily on donations from our board members to provide small services to students thus far.

With your support, we will be able to provide our first round of TTNF scholarships to Nursing students, at a time that nurses are needed the most. Our goal is to raise $5000 dollars to disburse as scholarships to nursing students in the fall of 2021. 2020 has truly been the year of the nurse and by donating to our cause today, your contribution will make a difference in both our community and the lives of the nurses and nursing students we serve.

Thank you so much for all the support, we truly value your generosity.
