CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
2009 -In this picture, I was a 21 years old college student working 3 jobs, active in 8 different organizations on campus, and ran 2 of them as Vice President and Director of Drama 😎.
In that same picture, still at 21, I had just failed out of the nursing program which left me with a destroyed GPA of 1.9📈 and placed on academic probation 😭. I changed my major for the THIRD time and was hiding my shame and uncertainties of my future behind a fake smile
2019 - A RN with 8+ years of healthcare experience under my belt, with 6 of those years spent as a bad ass nurse (none of my patients asked for my college GPA when I was saving their lives 😏) and the creator of a platform that uses technology to empower and advocate for nurses and nursing students around the world with a confident smile.
If you're presently going through failure, uncertainties, disappointments or a f*cked up GPA, don't give up. Accept the challenge and KEEP GOING! YOU define your future, not your current circumstances. Just know I am rooting for you all the way ✊🏾
